Stephen Frew graduated from Pratt Institute and the University of Houston. He has worked for McKim, Mead, and White Architects and William B Tabler Architects in New York as well as firms in Houston and Los Angeles before founding Stephen Frew Architects in 1978.

The firm specializes in the design and planning of custom residential and commercial projects,
including renovation, additions and new construction. Stephen Frew provides personal service to meet a clients needs from design through the construction process. Particular attention is paid to the environmental setting of each project.
